A Christmas Yuleblog: "In addition to collecting Christmas music, I have collected nearly 1000 vintage Christmas ads over the years. Many of these include celebrities, radio, television, cigarettes, liquor, modern appliances, and the like."
A taste of what you can expect.

Following the yule tradition that I've created for this blog I've put the annual Martin Klasch Christmas music mix together once again. There are 27 songs in this year's compilation but I'm not going to reveal which ones or by whom they are performed. I will say that if you've heard my other Christmas mixes you'll feel familiar with the style of the mix. If this interests you at all all you have to do is click the image of the cover and you'll end up at zSHARE where you'll be able to download the rar-file (130 MB). And just to annoy you I put a password on it - so to unpack the files you have type the name of this blog (without space).
I hope you'll enjoy it!
Sorry. No longer available.

PS. If anyone wondered: If I find the time and energy I might repost the mixes from earlier years. We'll see.

Yes we do get that sometimes. We don't all call it that but we do get them. And sometimes we have to lie on our stomach and put on a fake smile.

More entr'acte signs at Agence Eureka.

"Entr'acte is French for "between the acts" (German: Zwischenspiel, Italian: Intermezzo). It can mean a pause between two parts of a stage production, synonymous to an intermission, but it more often indicates a piece of music (interlude) performed between acts of a theatrical production."- Wikipedia

The excellent Modern Mechanix blog points out that over at Google Book Search you can now find "full indexed scans of every Popular Science and Popular Mechanics issue online". This is great of course but they don't have Modern Mechanix (yet anyway) so don't forget to visit the Modern Mechanix blog.
