Say: Rocket Cheese
grandprix 63: Raketost
"Raketost" (rocket cheese) was a Swedish cheese manufactured between 1947 and 1979. The semi-soft cheese was pushed out of a tube and cut using an attached piece of string. It didn't taste very much but many, especially children, loved it. It has become something of a symbol for (50s) nostalgia.

Vintage Signs: Motell
"I almost stoled one of those signs, when I found them behind this abandoned motel, but I didn't. Would've been great to rebuild the neontubes and light up the roof of my house... "

Magazine Cover: FART
Yep, that's kind of funny. Fart, though, means speed in Swedish. This is a motor magazine from 1963 and the cover shows a Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray, '63 in front of a Pan Am Boeing and of course in the car a couple of happy stewardesses.
The cover and the info came from motorman GrandPrix63! Pay him a visit.
