ModMom and JKS: It says, as MM correctly points out, "Pea soup" - "with pork(meat)" and below that "Note: New recipe!" but the word "receptur" is wrong! "Recept" would be right. The ending -ur is typically Islandic! That's about as much Icelandic I know. So one gathers it's made and canned on Iceland but the funny thing it said on the other side that it was made within EU, and Icland is not a member yet as far as I know... Fun? I don't know. Funny? Sort of funny business, perhaps... ;-D By the way, the fingertips are mine.
Somehow, I find it preferable to the execrable "Ny formula" (or worse; "ny formulering") that seems to be growing in popularity, although maybe not yet for comestibles.
