I'll be dog-gone!! I did not know that there was a "Big Jim" doll made from the Zeb Macahan character (James Arness also known from Gunsmoke) - the sturdy old trapper with a limp - in the 70s TV series How The West Was Won.
By the way, the series was called Familjen Macahan in Sweden and was extremely popular and then again we didn't have much to choose from in those years.

This picture, that I found via Bello Púbico, took me back to my childhood in the mid 70's and I just had to blog it. Does anyone else get a just a little bit notalgic from this?

Who ever said that nostagia is a bad thing? Check this fantastic site out. It's full of great stuff. Food packaging, store displays, krazy ad characters, cartoon characters and much much more! Get lost in there!
