Pippi by Miyazaki

In 1971 Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli wanted to make an animated movie based on the children's books about Pippi Longstocking, but he was unable to obtain the rights from the author Astrid Lindgren. However there are some concept sketches and storyboards to see and also some more reading to do on the subject.
