Christmas music & album covers: The Three Suns

To be honest
I'm not much of a fan of instrumental group The three Suns, I think they are pretty boring to listen to, but oh boy did they have some great artwork on some of their albums!! Found at Ernie (Not Bert) - a great Christmas music blog!

Blogs: New Music Blogs On the Horizon

Twilightzone! is a new music blog by faithful Martin Klasch supporter Christoph (AKA Rideyourpony) aus Deutschland. Right now he is offering "Finnischer tango". Yes, the Finns love tango and probably think they invented it, and this is a funny and truly interesting compilation. Twilightzone! also has some great Bo Diddley, Screaming Jay Hawkins and more. To say the least it's a promising start!

Lostandfoundalbums is a very impressive co-operative music blog project which anyone and everyone can join. The creator of the blog is the infamous HansZUN. Already, after a few days in operation, there are lots of tasty music downloads linked there. OBSOLETE!

Music blog: Drugburn

Drugburn is a blog that despite its subtitle "taking music to make drugs to" is dealing not in drugs but in music. I happened to stumbled upon it yesterday. The blog is focused on French 60s yé-yé pop, like Gainsbourg, Dutronc, Gall, Vartan, but also other 60s pop and more modern stuff. You will find great mp3s and videos there for download.

The France Gall Scopitone video in the post below is taken from Drugburn. Thanks!

By the way, here are some French 60s pop videos found in YouTube :

Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot: Bonnie & Clyde
Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot: Comic Strip
Serge Gainsbourg & Jane Birkin: Je T'aime, Moi Non Plus
